Selected Lectures / Teaching Profile:

1979 – 1990: Seminars, courses and workshops as a freelancer for students (German literature), teachers and people in adult education (focus : women in tertiary education)

1990 – 2018 : regular academic lectures and seminars in teacher education and cultural studies at Free University of Berlin (1990 – 1996), Leuphana University Lueneburg (1996 – 2010), University of Cologne (2010 – 2018).

2000 – 2019 : around 250 lectures, workshops and seminars for researchers, teachers,  librarians and/or parents (national / international) on reading research,  literature education, reading instruction and promotion especially for struggling readers, gender and reading / fostering boys´ reading habits, reading promotion in schools and libraries etc. Numerous interviews and newspaper articles.
