World Literacy Summit Oxford UK April 2020

‘Reading changes life’– this is the title of the World Literacy Summit, one of the largest world gatherings of international literacy and education specialists, held at Oxford University (UK) from April 5-8, 2020.
The Oxford Summit 2020 brings together 600 delegates among them NGO leaders, researchers, teachers, faculty members, librarians and the learners themselves from 85 countries (more than two thirds of the world) and 40.000 webinar users.
ELINET will be represented by Dorothee Gaile, Germany, ELINET member and expert for adolescent and disciplinary literacy.
Hosted biannually by the World Literacy Foundation, a leading international charity in the literacy sector, the World Literacy Summit deals with all dimensions of improving literacy levels across the globe.
One focus of the conference lies on social and networking activities with delegates from around the world.
